One-pot synthesis of cyclohexenes bearing quaternary trifluoromethylated carbon via Diels-Alder reaction.

The Diels-Alder reactions of a variety of ,  unsaturated carbonyls trifluoromethylated have been investigated. These compounds were found to undergo the cycloaddition readly with dienes to give cyclohexenes bearing quaternary trifluoromethylated carbon (6-7-8) (a-b-c) and (6-7- 8) (a’-b’-c’) in moderate to good yields.
