Effect of some pesticides on the induction and growth of somatic embryos of Solanum melongena L.

In vitro somatic embryogenesis and regeneration was achieved fromcotyledon explant of Solanum melongena L. Somatic embryogenesis by the addition of three different pesticides like Endosulfan and Rogor individually and in combination with Kitazin was studied at different concentrations of these chemicals inMS medium supplemented with 10 mg/l NAA. The investigation was carried out to study the induction, maturation, germination and regeneration of induced embryos in relation pesticides concentrations.
